We've all been there. We have to purchase a gift for someone who seems to have everything!! Therefore, we begin to feel challenged, because after all, you have to get them something, but what?
Here are a few tips that I use when purchasing gifts for those people who " have everything".
- Take notice of things they use often such as perfumes or colognes. Although they may have some on hand currently, if it's something they use often they're sure to love it and, it saves them money the next time they run out.
- Think about who they are as a person. Do they enjoy dining out or going to the movies. If so, a gift card for their favorite restaurant or movie theater is a great gift idea. Not only is it useful, it may prompt them to take a night off and enjoy a nice dinner and/or movie.
- Do they like chocolate? A special gift (for me for sure) is a nice, delicious box of chocolates that I love. It's a special treat that you may not buy often, but you sure enjoy it when you have them!
- Candles. Most everyone loves candles. Giving someone a candle in a pretty box wrapped in a bow is a wonderful gift. Not only will they use it, but it will be packaged lovely and they'll appreciate the thought and effort.
I hope you've found some of these tips useful and the next time you have to purchase a gift for that person that seems to "have it all", stop and realize that no one person ever REALLY "has it all". There is always something you can purchase for them that they'll use and enjoy.
Have a wonderful day.
Until next time.
